How is this different from the Color Picker?
The Color Picker lets you adjust a color with sliders and generate palettes; this tool takes an existing color value (e.g. #FF5733 from a design file) and instantly converts it to HEX, RGB, HSL and more for copying into code or stylesheets.
Does it support alpha / opacity?
Yes. Inputs like #RRGGBBAA 8-digit HEX, rgba(), and hsla() are parsed with alpha, and the output includes HEXA, RGBA and HSLA.
Can it recognize color names like "red"?
The current version only supports HEX, RGB/RGBA and HSL/HSLA numeric formats. CSS color names are not supported — use the Color Picker to find the HEX value first, then paste it here.
